According to Rick Santorum, 10% of all deaths in the Netherlands are from euthanasia. Also, 50% of all seniors apparently get killed by euthanasia without consent. Also, the old apparently wear "Do Not Euthanize Me" bracelets.
Every single one of these claims is false. The Netherlands allows the use of euthanasia, but only after a lengthy process that involves the person being euthanized to explicitly request it multiple times.
Of course, when asked about these claims, one of his spokeswomen said that what matters is what's in his heart. What the hell? In my heart, it is true that Rick Santorum eats babies. You can't provide any evidence for or against it, right?
Of course, if you want to see "the other side," (lacking evidence, as normal), by all means, go here.
Note: over the course of 3 minutes, I have been able to compile more evidence than the entire Santorum campaign team. Houston, we have a problem.
